
helsea Priscilla Cook developed her interest in photography while growing up in Orange County, California with her first Fisher Price camera and flashcube. Today, Chelsea is a globetrotting photojournalist, whose passion for photography was born during her journalism studies at Mount Royal College, Calgary. She is a graduate of the Bachelor of Applied Communications Degree in Journalism.
In 2001, she was awarded a finalist in the Best of College Photography Annual photo competition. Her work is featured in the Photographer's Forum book. She's expanded her photo repertoire from travels on a North American Mobility Project exchange in Guadalajara, Mexico as well as a backpacking journey throughout Southeast Asia and trips through landscape-rich Canada. Her company in Calgary, Priscilla Pictures, founded in 2001, focuses on travel photography, weddings & portraiture, commercial and photojournalism. Her photojournalism has been published in five local and national magazines and newspapers. She recently held a successful photo gallery show entitled, Mixed, at PhotoSpace Gallery in Calgary.
